Pre-Order

Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

GenePrint helps healthy people understand their personal risk of disease from one blood draw at home. Your privacy matters to us, so this page explains, in plain words, what we collect on this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who we are

This website is run by GenePrint (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information you give us here. You can reach us at privacy@geneprint.bio.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and the pre-order list. It does not cover the GenePrint test itself. Before you give a blood sample, we will ask for your separate, explicit consent and give you a full notice about how your genetic and health information is handled.

3. What we collect

When you pre-order, we collect:

  • your name and email address
  • your phone number, if you give it
  • your country
  • the areas you are interested in, if you tick any (for example Cancer or Ancestry)

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any health, medical or genetic information through this website.

Like any website, our hosting provider keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. We use no advertising or analytics cookies and no tracking tools.

To save you a step, when you reach the pre-order form your browser asks GeoJS, an IP location service, which country your internet connection is in, so we can pre-fill the Country field. GeoJS sees your IP address for that one request. We only keep the country if you send the form, and you can change it before you do.

4. How we use it

  • to contact you about your pre-order and tell you when GenePrint is available
  • to tell you whether you are one of the first 100 pre-orders and get the founding offer
  • to understand which areas people are most interested in, so we can plan the service
  • to protect the website from spam and misuse

We only use your details for these purposes, based on the consent you give when you tick the box on the form. We never sell your data, and we do not send you marketing from anyone else.

5. Who we share it with

We only share your details with the service providers who help us run this website and send email, such as our web hosting and email provider, and GeoJS for the country lookup described above. They may only use your details to provide that service to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.

6. Where it is kept and for how long

Your details are stored securely with our hosting provider. If they are processed outside your country, we make sure they are protected to the standard the law requires.

We keep your pre-order details until GenePrint launches in your country and for up to 12 months after that, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete your details and remove you from the pre-order list
  • stop contacting you (withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before)

Email privacy@geneprint.bio and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

8. Security

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to pre-order details is limited to the GenePrint team members who need it.

9. Children

Pre-orders are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use details you have already given us, we will tell you by email.
